I asked my husband some questions about men and women entering their midlife joy…or crisis

First of all, this photo is not of my dear husband(lol!), however if I were to describe my partner, I’d say he is the color of light peanut butter or golden caramel. 6'1, light brown eyes and a physique that is akin to the Silver Surfer’s. He has a charismatic smile that even until this day, still lights up my heart.

Over the last several months, we would come across something in a movie, news, or social media that pertains to looks and aging. Women are being told they “hit the wall” if they are 35 years of age and older and that younger women are perfect mates for any older man. We are often told that as men age, they are like “fine wine” and can “still get it”

Is any of this true?

While I may not have interviewed hundreds of men, I feel that getting my husband’s unique perspective will allow me to understand him a bit more and hopefully some of you can resonate with his thoughts.

Overall, do men even care about their appearance as much as women?

My husband is very strategic with his morning and evening routine. He is bald, so he takes care of his own shaving, own beard trimming…
