Jonathan Ventura waited thirty minutes for his date to show up. He sat there with roses in hand, ate a nice dinner all alone, then posted on social media that his date stood him up. It is clear by his expression and tone of voice that he was hurt, but it’s the question he asks that has social media buzzing:

“Ladies, what did I do wrong?”

He asks.

He then goes on to say that he tried doing everything that a woman would love. He tried to be the perfect date.

On the surface, things seem quite simple: A nice man holding flowers, waiting for a date that did not have the decency to call him to cancel. However, after listening in on conversations, joining in, and researching a bit, I learned that much more is at play here.
