Bookworm Book Budgeting Tips For 2024 And Beyond
So many new books are available for purchase, but you can save while savoring a good story too
Ana Huang’s latest novel, The Striker is out now and her reading groups and social media re going nuts over it. I’m going nuts over it too! However, when I think about the money I’ve spent on books in the last two years and the way they are crowding my digital spaces and home space — I realize I need to go back to my old ways.
Make Use of Kindle Unlimited
Last year, I canceled my Kindle Unlimited (KU) subscription because I prefer purchasing books rather than paying $9.99 monthly for access. What did I do? I filled my Kindle with every appealing book and series I had missed — completely free of charge!
In essence, even if I opted to subscribe to KU monthly, I’d still be spending money, but I wouldn’t be paying for each individual book. It’s a better value for money, akin to Netflix for books.
